Tennis Porn

Of course I love tennis and what could possibly be better than playing naked. Was very disappointed that weather at naked camping this year didn't allow me to play. I'll just have to keep looking at these pics to hold me over 'til next year.

Yannik Noah: Black french player from the 80s. I love this pic, because his cock is peeking around the corner ever so slightly:

The cutest of them all, Rafael Nadal of Spain getting a massage:

Carlos Moya of Spain:

Juan Carlos Fererro of Spain. He was number one for a while I believe back in the late 90s or early 2000s. Still playing today:

Feliciano Lopez of Spain:

Tommy Robredo of Spain:

Tommy Robredo again:

Update

Last weekend with my cousin and his partner was fun. He's a full 8 years older than me, so we weren't really in the same age group growing up. I was much closer to his younger brother. This being the first time that we hanged out together in gay settings, we both found ourselves reverting back to early childhood memories of each other. He still remembers me as the 3 year old that hates getting his hair and fingernails cut and is so quiet. I guess we were both in somewhat of a time warp.

I haven't played tennis in almost two weeks now as a result of trying to play when I should have been recuperating. After getting an excruciating cortisone injection in my wrist last week I think I just might be ready to hit a few tentative balls this week.

Looking forward to the weekend away naked this weekend with friends. I think it'll be good for us. I've been feeling kinda blah these past 2 days, which very well might be related to being less physically active than normal. Anyway, the idea of being nude in a beautiful pool, on lots of land, with really good friends and absolutely nothing to worry about sounds just about perfect right now.
I received an email yesterday tell me that this weekends will be the Bay-2-Breakers race in San Fran. I'm a little disappointed that I'll not be able to go. Oh well, there's always next year.

Another friend has decided to visit me while I'm in Barcelona bringing the total to 4 plus possibly one more. The BF is decisionally-challenged and still hasn't decided even though I fly in just four weeks. Now I'm researching my communications alternatives so that I can still communicate with the BF as well as with others for work by phone. I was thinking to register for a Vonage SoftPhone, but hadn't realized that the Vonage free calls to Europe was to landlines only. So now my backup plan is get a free Skype account for the BF and a paid account for myself. Then I'll forward my local cell phone to my paid Skype account. It should allow me to (a) talk to the BF for free, (b) receive calls and voice mails placed to my normal cell phone number, (c) place calls to people back in the states.

Summer Approacheth

Yes, the days are getting longer and weather, milder. So what's going on?
  • I've been trying to play more tennis, but am now plagued by a hurt wrist, which has been bothering me for the past few days (none of the obvious jokes!) I'm seeing the orthopedist on Thursday because I want to get back on the court as soon as possible.

  • I have all of my trips to Barcelona made and am really looking forward to it. I've invited several friends to come visit for a few days. Two are coming for about 5 days in early July and another just booked airfare for a week in mid-June. He'll even be joining me in immersion classes!

  • Went to a pool party this weekend. Yes, one of those so don't ask! I have to say that it is so nice to be able to "socialize" (hmm) around a pool with others. God I love summer!

  • A group of friends are planning to do a naked get together in the woods in about 2 weeks or so. So far I think they'll be 10 to 15 of us. The larger groups will come later in the summer. The smaller groups are so much fun and relaxing just being relaxed and naked in nature with great people. I'm really looking forward to it.

  • I've made my reservations for GNI. I had such a good time last year that I just had to do it again. Unfortunately, we'll only be going for the 2nd half-week since I'm already taking too much vacation as it is. Already 4 friends have booked, so it should definitely be a good time.

  • My gay cousin and his partner will be visiting us this weekend. He's pretty conservative (at least I think so), so I'll be on my bestest behavior.

Tennis Porn

Fernando Verdasco is a hottie tennis player and has combined two of my favorite things by posing naked for a charity event.

Kinda makes me reminisce of naked tennis at the GNI Gathering. Too bad I didn't get any pictures since I played 6 out of 7 days. Oh well. I guess it just gives me something to look forward to this year. I was thinking of going for the second half-week, but now am contemplating the full week. We'll see...

Tennis

Today was my second day back on the court after taking a 2 month break. I'm still not playing very well, but that'll take probably a month before I get back up to a decent level. My timings not quite right, not quite moving as I should, sucking wind and battling two blisters. I said all that to say how much pure fun playing is and how happy I am to be playing again. I'll be playing every day that the temperature ventures near 50 degrees.

Incoherent Blatherings About Boring Stuff

Today was a great day. It just felt great. The temperature got up to an unseasonable 60 degrees and the BF and I started the day by going out to a local diner for breakfast. Later, I decided to break my 2 month tennis hiatus a little earlier than planned. I went out and hit for about an hour and a half. Of course I was pretty rusty, but what really shocked me was that I was way more winded that I thought I should've been. Wow, how fast I can get out of shape!

Later the BF and I went to Results to work out. I'm pretty even keeled emotionally, but I've noticed that strenuous, physical exercise always has a positive impact on my demeanor. I felt great. I sure hope my tennis elbow doesn't return so that I can start playing regularly again.

Last night I got a call from Kitty. Kitty is a mixed-race black guy (yes, he's a guy), and he wanted to meet up for an early dinner at CPK. The BF and I met up with him and his best friend D. D is supposedly straight and I actually believe him even if he seems more gay than most gay guys do. I think he's probably mostly straight with a little sugar added for good measure. D had changed his hair style to a mohawk and was looking way better than I had remembered.

After dinner we all went back to our place for drinks and conversation and in-between watched the Lost marathon playing on G4. I had never watched this channel and found their channel promotional spots pretty funny and slightly disturbing. The pop-up chat room was also a little weird since it always pops up just when you're really getting into the show. Later we all took out my extensive sexy underwear collection and played dress-up because Kitty told us that he had never wore a thong. D was walking around in a yellow jockstrap and a straw hat and looked hilarious. It was a fun night.

Friday night I had invited a different 20-something friend to join us a Cobalt. He pretty much acted like an ass from the moment he walked in and committed one of my cardinal sins, which is being rude to a good friend of mine. The fact that he was rude to a friend is beside the point, I just have a problem with people that don't consider others enough to treat them as a living being. I winded up kind of letting him sulk in a corner for a while, until he finally decided he would engage and pulled me upstairs. Not going into details, but as I thought about it the following day, I appreciated his behavior even much less. I actually did have a good time, mainly because I left him to sulk alone for a while. Later that night we ate and went to JRs, where I had a really good time talking with Jack. He's such a cute sweetie so I always enjoy talking with him.

I fear that the local nude scene seems to have slacked a little recently. I hope that it's just be the weather. The bi-weekly cocktail party may be in danger. Currently I think there's one scheduled for next Saturday, so I guess we'll find out then how's it going. The last party was a little dampened because the establishment were it is held have some business licensing fears and clamped down on physical contact. I understand the no sex or sex acts rules, but they pretty much stopped all contact below the nipples. One of the things that I love about all male nudity is the openness and lack of hangups, but this is severely dampened if you have to be more guarded nude than you would've been in a normal clothed gay setting. Oh well. It was hard for me to relax in that atmosphere, but after a while I did and actually enjoyed it.

Lastly back to tennis, I loved Nadal's win at the Australian open. I just can't get enough of him. I always route against Federer, but it was really kind of hard watching him cry like that. I really felt for him.

Unreal Tennis

I break tennis strings way too often. I can typically play only 4 times or for about 1 week before breaking a string. My attempts to find an alternative string that feels good over this past year has so far failed miserably... until now.

On Monday, I strung my racket with Luxilon Big Bangers on the mains at 51lbs and Wilson NXTs on the crosses at 54lbs. The feeling has been unreal! I really feel like I can hit the ball as hard as I want and it will stay in no matter what. The only downside is that these strings only lasted for 2 and a half days, most likely because I've been hitting so hard.

BTW, it's not just hitting hard, but being able to do so without sacrificing consistency. On Monday I played Glen who normally plays me about equal and beat him 6-3, 6-0 and 6-2 without having a single break point against me. On Wednesday I played a guy that I usually, but not always, beat and won 6-0. He didn't even get a game point opportunity on his own serve. Tuesday was just as good, but I just practiced so there was no score to report.

After winning the set on Wednesday, the string broke. I switched to another racket strung with TNT-16s and really noticed the difference. It was like someone turned off all of the lights.

I think the Big Bangers might be aggravating my tennis elbow, so I'll be monitoring this closely. I really hope I can continue using them however because after several days it's seeming more and more obvious that it is making a big difference.

Naked Tennis

Another update on the wonderful week that we spent at the GNI Gathering in the Pocono Mountains. One of my nudist goals has been to play tennis naked. Well, I got my opportunity at the gathering.

Upon our arrival, we used our provided maps to tour the grounds during which we found the tennis courts. I had seen on the schedule that there was a Tennis 101 class scheduled early the following morning. I really wasn't interested in an introductory class. After breakfast the next morning, we walked over to the courts just to see what was going on. I saw the guys in the class hitting the balls. They all obviously had hit balls before, so I decided to go retrieve my racket in the hope that maybe someone would want to hit after the class finished. When I returned with my gear in hand but sans-clothes, I immediately met up with a red-head guy. As it turned out, he's one of the better players that was there that week and we immediately became tennis buddies. We played everyday except once when we both needed a break.

So if you're like me (and also haven't gotten completely bored by the topic), you're probably wondering about the obvious logistical issues of playing tennis nude.

1. The first and most obvious question was about the flopping issue. Now, I have a tendency to flop quite a bit even when playing in relatively tight boxer briefs, so I was definitely wondering about this. As it turns out, this is completely a non-issue. Yes things were flying everywhere, but I didn't slow down, stop running or jumping nor restrict myself in any other way because of fears of flopping. After playing for just a few minutes it became obvious to me why this isn't a problem. God (or nature) created us naked and optimized our bodies to be able to run, jump, hunt and a variety of other arduous activities. Our bodies were created to do this. The unnatural thing is when we wear clothing which is why it bothers me so much more when I'm wearing boxer briefs than when nude.

2. Most people that don't play regularly might not think of this, but pockets are essential in tennis. This is especially true if you have a 2-hand backhand and therefore can't just keep the extra ball in your left hand. Well my red-headed tennis buddy taught me how to overcome this my first day. When serving, I used the BF's fanny pack. Simple, easy, comfortable, problem solved.

3. When I play I sweat. So I typically use various methods to help me deal with this and ensure that my grip remains dry. Among these are wristbands and a cotton shirt on which I can wipe my hands. I wore a wristband, but wondered what I would use to wipe my hands if I didn't have a shirt on. As it turns out, this too was a non-issue. What I hadn't counted on was that we just sweat a lot less when nude. I still sweated, but much less and therefore just having a wristband was plenty enough.

I loved the feeling of naked tennis. I loved being able to look onto the next court and seeing brief moments of a beautiful male form contorting gracefully as it stretches to return a deep shot. Naked tennis was all I had hoped it would be which is basically two things I love: naked and tennis. And as a bonus, it helped me get a good amount of physical activity during my vacation.

Tennis Today

Ok, I could talk about my recent tennis matches but the real point of this post is to share some eye candy that I came across on someone else's blog. This was just way too good not to share, so I had to find any excuse to post it. Of course I look just like this after my tennis matches. (smile)

Tennis In an Oven

Well today the temperature was projected to be about 96 degrees with very high humidity, so of course I had to go play tennis during the hottest part of the day. I'm a little crazy that way. It was nice, because only the die hard players were out, so it was fairly easy to find a court. I played 2 sets of singles and won 6-1 and 6-1 as well as 3 sets of doubles which turned out 6-2, 6-4 and 4-6. I never let heat stop me, but am very careful to take plenty of fluids and be prepared to take a break or stop if I feel the slightest bit off.

Tennis Today

Yesterday I played tennis... again. I've been playing pretty regularly for the past year or so now and have really improved over the past few months. Anyway, at the park that I regularly play there are about 50 players that I know that play there regularly (several times per week), about 5 of which I would call the A-level players.

Many people at the park have considered me a part of this group for a long time, but frankly I know that I am not. I know that the A-level players would have my lunch. Well yesterday I split sets with one of the A players 3-6 and 6-3. This is the second time in as many weeks that I've taken sets from A-level players. Perhaps now I am really just starting to break into this group.

Tennis Catostrophy

Today was my last tennis match with CTA, the gay tennis association of the Washington, DC area. This has been my first year playing with CTA and I chose to participate in one of their singles, winter leagues. Until today, I have done quite well by winning most of my matches and tieing the rest.

Today was a completely different story. I had the misfortune to draw the leagues best player. I'm not sure if this is true, but I heard that he hasn't lost this year. Well, needless to say, it didn't go very well as I was handed my first loss quite handily. So now I am home licking my wounds. Actually, this is overstating it since losing only bothers me as long as I play and is quickly forgotten once the game ends.

My biggest disappointment is that I actually didn't even play very well. I resorted back to a bad tendency that I sometimes have to roll over the ball too much instead of hitting through it. As a result, although I was consistent, I provided my top-rated appointment many wonderful short balls for him to take advantage of.

Tennis Today

Today I had my weekly tennis match with the CTA singles tennis league. CTA is a gay tennis organization that hosts leagues, tournaments, ladders, socials and everything else connected to tennis. I am new to the group and have only played 5 matches so far, but have done fairly well so far.

Today I played OK. I was fairly consistent, but had trouble hitting through the ball. I split sets to come away with a tie. I won the first set 6-4 and lost the second 4-2 since we ran out of time.
