For the record, I have nothing against marijuana, but don't smoke it and except for twice in my many years, never have.That said, I wanted to comment on an article that I came across that talks about a picture that surfaced of Michael Phelps smoking marijuana using a bong.
- He's just a kid. I don't mean this in a bad way. I mean of course he's not perfect and bound to have done at least a few dumb things. So what?
- Besides, our irrational attitudes toward marijuana make no sense anyway. Look at the scientific evidence. Drinking and smoking are much worse in just about every way you can imagine. Sure some may argue it's a "gateway" drug, but I'd say that alcohol is much, much more so.
