Read a Book

This is one of the most negatively produced positive videos I've seen. I have no idea what to make of it.

Warning, the video has a lot of racially objectionable language.



The creators of the video defend their work here. Really not sure what I think. On thing that bothers me is the use of the word 'Nigger' (no, I won't say N-word) when it's done by either whites or blacks. It is a term whose only purpose was to denigrate. Even when used between blacks today, I think it retains a little of the "separateness" that the original term implied... and we all no that separate but equal is not equal.

Curiosity, tell me what you think of the word 'nigger' when used between black people?
